Der Neue Mensch – Die Neue Welt: Ausstellung

‘Der Neue Mensch — Die Neue Welt’ ist eine Werk­aus­stel­lung der Künst­ler/-innen, die in Bau­haus­EINS arbei­ten. Zur Aus­stel­lung wird ein limi­tier­tes Buch ver­öf­fent­licht, in dem Auf­nah­men der Ate­liers abge­bil­det und Reflek­tio­nen über den Ein­fluss des Bau­haus auf unsere Zeit zu lesen sind. Der Kata­log beinhal­tet Essays von Lance Fung (USA), Claire Waf­fel (Deutsch­land) and Johan­nes Warda (Deutsch­land). Geför­dert aus Mit­teln des Thü­rin­ger Minis­te­ri­ums für Umwelt, Ener­gie und Naturschutz.

Die Aus­stel­lung fin­det in zwei Stock­wer­ken des Hau­ses statt.

Etage 1:
Bau­haus­EINS stellt seit Okto­ber 2016 drei Künst­lern/-innen Ate­liers zur Ver­fü­gung. Die Aus­stel­lung ist eine Prä­sen­ta­tion der Werke, die in die­sem Zeit­raum ent­stan­de­nen sind. Fol­gende Künst­ler/-innen ent­wi­ckel­ten und gestal­te­ten die Aus­stel­lung und den beglei­ten­den Kata­log: Brian Bixby (USA), Chris­toph Bal­duin Strop­pel (Deutsch­land), Maria Suckert (Deutsch­land).

Dj Ony und Dj Bal­duin sor­gen für die musi­ka­li­sche Beglei­tung des Abends.

Etage 2:
Auf der zwei­ten Etage prä­sen­tie­ren Gok­cen Dilek Acay (Tür­kei) and Ste­fan Schiek (Deutsch­land) ihre Arbeiten.

‘Der Neue Mensch — Die Neue Welt’ is an exhi­bi­tion of work pro­du­ced by artists working at Bau­haus­straße 1. This is also the release of a limi­ted edi­tion book fea­turing images of the stu­dio spaces and reflec­tions on the influence of the Bau­haus. The cata­log fea­tures essays from; Lance Fung (USA), Claire Waf­fel (Ger­many) and Johan­nes Warda (Ger­many). Sup­ported by the Thu­rin­gian Minis­try of Envi­ron­ment, Energy and Nature Conservation.

The exhi­bi­tion is pre­sen­ted on two flo­ors of the house.

Floor 1:
The Bau­haus­EINS pro­vi­ded stu­dio space for three artist’s on the first floor begin­ning on Octo­ber 1st, 2016. This exhi­bi­tion is a pre­sen­ta­tion of their work crea­ted during this time. This group pro­du­ced and desi­gned the exhi­bi­tion and the accom­pany­ing cata­log. Brian Bixby (USA), Chris­toph Bal­duin Strop­pel (Ger­many), Maria Suckert (Ger­many).

Dj Ony and Dj Bal­duin will pro­vide the sound­track for the evening.

Floor 2:
On the 2nd floor is the work of Gok­cen Dilek Acay (Tur­key) and Ste­fan Schiek (Ger­many).
